Carabello Coffee partnered with Elemental Beverage to make our Block Party Summer Blend into a chilled coffee using the Snapchill™ Technology.

This is cold coffee like never before.  Traditional methods like cold brew, ice, and refrigeration diminish all the flavors and aromas of coffee. So a decade ago, Elemental Beverage set out to make cold better.  Using the basic laws of physics, they developed their thermodynamic, Snapchilled™ technology that makes hot coffee cold in seconds–without dilution, oxidation, or additives.  

The inspiration for the illustrations were summer parties. We wanted to encapsulate all that summer means to folks as well as highlight some of the flavors of the coffee. This was a fun project in many ways. For starters, I wanted to do something playful and work with another artist on our team, Josh McGrew, to create something special that would grab people’s attention. Secondly, this allowed me to break out the old pen and paper to create these illustrations. Then I brought it to the computer and decided that I wanted to offset the colors from the outlines to give it more dimension and personality.
